God chose four men to form His own nation, a group of people that would be special to Him. These men were called patriarchs. The first was Abraham, the father of all who believe. Next was his son Isaac, followed by his son Jacob, who wrestled with God to get His blessing. Finally, one of Jacob’s sons, Joseph, was betrayed by his brothers and sold as a slave. But Joseph trusted God, who blessed him and used him to save his family and the whole nation of Egypt.
